Dennis Prager points out what I've believed for a long time. Those who charge others with racism, sexism, or any other “ism” are usually themselves the greatest offenders of said charge. This is exactly why Jesus said, in Matthew 7:5 (and similarly in Luke 6:42) “Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.” It's also what's behind the often quoted “Judge not, lest ye be judged”. Man has the habit of criticizing others for that which he is guilty of. In this case, it is elitist, leftist, white men who harbor both racist and sexist tendencies. Mr. Prager rightly states that you'd never hear either of the George Bush's or Orrin Hatch say what Bob Kerrey said. I can only imagine how the Left would respond if they did.
